My background is far from a typical one. I came to the UK to study Chemistry - not sure what I was thinking, but my chemistry teacher was amazing and I was always interested in natural sciences. Before even starting my degree I stumbled upon tech startups and I instantly realised It's exactly what I was looking for — some of the smartest people working hard to improve the world, bit by bit. I was so inspired that I started spending most of my free time designing websites and interfaces. 6 years and multiple LinkedIn updates later, my hobby is now my full-time job: I use my diverse experience in UI/UX, product management and startups to help companies create easy to use products.
I believe tech should bend over backwards to serve the user and every interaction should be a pleasant one. While technology is becoming more complex, current graphical user interfaces have to offer a more and more natural experience to the user — it's shaping the way we experience the world, so might as well make it as good as we can.
